JUNE TYLER LANDON, 81, of Crisfield, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.
Born in Crisfield on January 8, 1925, she was a daughter of the late W. Washington and Agnes Justice Tyler. Her husband, Arthur T. Landon, Sr. died on February 27, 2003. They shared 61 years of marriage.
She worked for many years at the former Mrs. Paul's Kitchen and then she worked for many years at Rubberset Co. where she retired. She was a member of the Somerset Free Methodist Church in Crisfield
She was a loving mother and dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who all affectionately called her "Mom-Mom June."
She is survived by four children, Barbara L. Kuebler and her husband, Dan, Arthur T. Landon, Jr. and his wife, Ella, Timothy Wayne Landon and Ronnie J. Landon and his wife, Cathy, all of Crisfield, six grandchildren, Julie L. Laird, Olivia Landon, Joshua Lundgren, Chelsea Lahey, Marissa Landon, and Lucas Landon, two great-grandsons, James R. Laird, IV and Louis Hickman, IV, sisters, Rose "Sweetsie" Landon of Crisfield and Joan Tyler and her husband Dick of Salisbury, former daughter-in-law, Lisa Mori of Annapolis and many nieces and nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, William Cranston "Snooks" Tyler, Charles "Dolly" Tyler, Eugene "Bay" Tyler, Wayne Tyler, Philip "Buster" Tyler, two sisters, Helen Chaffey, and Faye Tyler.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 30, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Somerset Free Methodist Church where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Samuel Horner will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
