JUNE MILES CHRISTY, 80, of Crisfield, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at her home.

Born in Crisfield February 18, 1930, she was a daughter of the late James Edward Miles and the late Lena May Ward Miles Cullen. Her husband, Richard Christy, preceded her in death.

A graduate of Crisfield High School, she was a former secretary of Christy Seafood, Mountaire Farms, and Tull & Price Real Estate.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield where she was active in the choir and the UMW. She was also an officer and member of the Crisfield Women's Civic Club and enjoyed needlepoint.

She is survived by her nephew, Miles Riggin and wife Holly of Crisfield; her great-nephew, Glenn M. Riggin and wife Carol and their children Jessie and Ben Riggin, all of Flemington, New Jersey; her great-niece, Jan Smith and husband Kent and their children Lynsey and Tyler Smith, all of Setauket, Long Island, New York; and several cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father who helped raise her, William T. Cullen; her sister, Thelma Miles Riggin; and her niece, Shirley Riggin.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 23, 2010 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call from 10-11 AM. Rev. Sally Russum will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
