Obituary

Julian W. "Jukie" Bradshaw, Jr., 68, of Crisfield, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Manokin Nursing and Rehab in Princess Anne.

Born on Tangier, VA on December 1, 1955 and raised on Tylerton, MD, he was the son of the late Julian Webster Bradshaw, Sr. and Norma Crockett Bradshaw.

Jukie worked as a Waterman until 2004 and then worked as a Deckhand for Vane Line Bunkering from 2004 until his retirement in 2017. He attended Somerset Free Methodist Church and was a member of the Crisfield American Legion Post #16.

He loved working in his yard and talking to his friends on the CB radio.

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Anita Bradshaw of Crisfield; aunts and uncle, Wes and Faye Bradshaw of Smith Island and Deborah Haynie of Salisbury; mother-in-law, Ruth Landon Howard of Crisfield; brothers-in-law, Delmas Tyler and Gilbert Howard; niece, Amanda Moore; nephew, Jonathan Tyler, great-nephews, Nathaniel Tyler and Brent Howard; cousins, Nina Ruth and Steve Pruitt; best friend, Tony Laird; and several other nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Nina Crockett, and Clyde and Bertha Bradshaw; sister, Marsha Tyler; and aunts and uncles, Jennie "Teany" Charnock, Stanley "Bud" Crockett, Merrill Bradshaw, Milford Bradshaw, and Gloria Evans.

A funeral service at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 11 AM. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Reverends Allen Matthews and Jim Evans will be officiating.  Interment will be private.
