Julia Middleton Hand, 91, of Princess Anne, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Crisfield on January 1, 1926 she was a daughter of the late Sam and Ethel Morris Taylor.  Her first husband, Jack Middleton and second husband, Joseph Hand both preceded her in death.

A graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1943, she retired from the former Campbell's Soup in Salisbury. After retiring she had worked at many places such as the former English Grill in Westover, the former Charles Briddell Company, Kitty's Flowers, McDonalds in Princess Anne, and many others.

She was a Charter Member at Walker Memorial Church of God.  The church first started at her house on Beechwood Street in Princess Anne.

She is survived by her daugher, Beverly Burke of Princess Anne; granddaughter, Shawna Gammino and husband Frank of Bunnell, FL; great-granddaughters, Gina Gammino and June Gammino both of Bunnell, FL; brother, George Taylor and wife Lucine of Crisfield; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by a sister, Anabelle Dize; and brother and sister-in-law, William and Susie Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at Walker Memorial Church of God in Princess Anne on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 7 PM.  The Rev. Tim Shawyer will officiate.
