Julia Ann Dameron, 72, of Crisfield, died Monday, March 6, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center.
Born in Crisfield May 23, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Nelson and Julia Parkinson Evans. Her husband of 39 years, Horace W. Dameron, Jr., died March 11, 1999.
She was a retired quality control employee of the former Mrs. Paul's Kitchens in Crisfield and later was a home health care provider for more than 10 years.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church and the Somerset County Arts Council. She enjoyed crafting, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved her special pet cat "Felix".
She is survived by two daughters, Debra Strobel and Fritz of Crisfield and Terri Dale of Berlin; five grandchildren, Jamie Thomas and Kristy, Julie Cuff and Dee, Jeffrey Cuff, Jr. and Erin, Jeremy Sterling and Destiny, and Justin Sterling; five great-grandchildren, Michael, Josh, Jason, Jeffrey, and Peyton; a sister, Laura Somers of Crisfield; an uncle, Richard Somers of New Mexico; a nephew, Arthur Somers; a niece, Vicky Hill; and a special friend, Margaret Dize.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
