Joyce Lynn White, 79, of Crisfield, MD, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 13, 2026. Born on December 18, 1946, she was a daughter of the late Noah Vaughn Gibbons and Elizabeth Collins Gibbons.
Joyce married Harry (Claudie) White in Crisfield, MD on December 28, 1965. Joyce was a dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. These are the roles that brought her the most joy and fulfillment in her life. She loved spending time with her two daughters, Debbie and Becky, and spoiling her grandson, Dylan James, and great-grandson, Tyler James.
Joyce could have been found playing BINGO, picking through a good yard sale, crocheting was a favorite pastime or maybe going to the slots with Claudie. Then there was always watching NASCAR Races on Sunday’s or in recent years playing with her beloved dog Lucky.
Joyce is survived by her husband of 60 years, Harry (Claudie) White; two daughters, Debbie Lankford (Jimmy) of Crisfield and Becky White (Shawn) of Pocomoke; sisters, Betty Neggy of DE, Alice Mae Eaton of NC, Cheryl Webb of Crisfield, and Norma Septowski of Ohio. Joyce had one grandson, Dylan James, whom she loved being Nanny to, and his wife, Addison; and one great-grandson, Tyler James. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and of course her beloved dog, LUCKY.
In addition to her parents, Joyce is preceded in death by a premature daughter, Susan Marie White; and her sisters, Ruth Bailey, Donna Griffin, and Caroline Sterling.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home with Pastor C.K. White officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11AM. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
