JOSEPHINE A. STOY GRIFFITH, 92, of Snow Hill and formerly of Crisfield and Pennsauken, New Jersey, died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Snow Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Born in Philadelphia on June 21, 1919, she was the daughter of the late John William and Hannah Kershaw Stoy.

A homemaker, Mrs. Griffith was a very active member of Martin Luther Chapel in Pennsauken. She enjoyed quilting and baking.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, George Theodore Griffith of Snow Hill; a daughter-in-law, Mona Griffith of Crisfield; two granddaughters, Jennifer Corley and husband Tony of Douglasville, PA and Eileen Marusch and husband Joseph of Winslow Township, NJ; two great-great-grandchildren, Zachary Corley and Amanda Marusch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, John T. "Jack" Griffith on September 16, 2011; and her brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Ida Stoy.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
