Joseph David "Joey" Compton, 33, of Salisbury and formerly of Crisfield, died Friday, March 29, 2013 at his home.

Born in Baltimore August 20, 1979, he was a son of Lou and Fran Compton of Crisfield.

A Crisfield High School graduate of the class of 1997, he was a warehouse manager for R.C. Holloway in Salisbury. He was an avid XBox360 gamer, avid soccer fan, and he enjoyed watching movies and Jeopardy.

In addition to his parents, Lou and Fran Compton, he is survived by his companion for 16 years and wife of five years, Kristy Tull Compton of Salisbury; his special furry children, Willis and Sunny; his brother, Luen Compton, III and wife Nicole of Wichita Falls, TX USAF; his aunts and uncles, Helen and Ed Kramer and Linda and John Burdynski, all of Baltimore; his best friend, Travis Lewis of Salisbury; his wife's family, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Fred and Tammy Tull of Marion, Mary, Stevie and Brooke Bradshaw of Marion, Bobbi Jean and Allen Somers of Crisfield, John and Bunk Tull of Marion and Betty Tull of Marion; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Lola Russell and Lou and Clara Compton; an aunt, Pat Brant; and an uncle, Jeff Compton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 4:30 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where the family will receive friends from 3-4:30. Rev. Sonny Benton and Rev. Dennis Bradford will officiate.
