Jon Rae Nelson, 89, of Crisfield, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Crisfield August 29, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Emory and Marian Tyler Nelson. She was a retired painter, home health care provider, a member of Asbury U. M. Church, and she most recently attended the Crisfield Wesleyan Church.

She liked to go fishing and she was an avid Baltimore Orioles fan.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Emory, Johnny, Kathryn, Violet, Jean, and Sarah.

Donations in her memory can be made to Crisfield Wesleyan Church, Ascension Hermitage and Sanctuary in Upper Fairmount, Somerset County, Maryland or a charity of your choice.

A graveside memorial service and interment will be in Asbury Cemetery on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at 1 PM. Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate.
