John Berezoski, Jr., of Marion Station and formerly of Owings, Maryland, died Thursday, July 11, 2013 at his home.
Born in Washington, DC on June 25, 1939, he was a son of the late John and Isabelle Talbert Berezoski. He had been making his home here for the past 19 years.
A self-employed commercial property contractor and manager, John enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, and hobby trains. He loved his pets and spending time (and eating) at Watermen's Inn in Crisfield where he was a welcomed fixture.
A devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, John is survived by his wife, Kathleen Callahan Berezoski of Marion Station; four children, John Berezoski, III and wife Andrea of Kansas City, Kansas, Kim Benefield and husband McRae of Guntersville, Alabama, Dawn Berezoski and husband Vincent Fetterman of Shady Side, MD, and Karen Berezoski of Owings, MD; eight grandchildren, Valarie, Jacob, Isabelle, Nicholas, Raechel, Jeselyn, Samantha, and Devyn; his best friend who was more like a brother to him, Harvey Boss; his brother, Donald Berezoski; and his mother-in-law, Corie Callahan of Crisfield.
A celebration of his life will be held Sunday, September 15, 2013 at 4 PM at Watermen's Inn restaurant in Crisfield.
