John Upshur "Johnny" Marshall, 62, of Marion Station, died Friday, October 16, 2015 at his home.

Born in Crisfield December 21, 1952, he was a son of Dorothy Long Marshall of Marion Station and the late Percy Miles Marshall who died in 1983.

A graduate of Crisfield High School, he was a waterman and a member of Marion Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing in his younger years, and enjoyed spending time with his family and his pet dog "Fred".

Along with his mother, he is survived by three children, John Marshall and Shelly Marshall of Crisfield and David Marshall of Princess Anne; four brothers, Phillip Marshall and wife Donna, David Marshall and wife Christine, and Timmy Marshall, all of Marion Station and Jimmy Marshall of Princess Anne; two sisters, Juanita Laird and husband Jim and Cheryl Marshall, all of Kingston; and many other special family members.

A graveside funeral service and urn interment will be Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 2 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield. The Rev. Joseph Barnes will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Marion Baptist Church, 5833 Crisfield Highway, Marion Station, MD 21838.
