John Fletcher "Jack" Daugherty, 79, of Crisfield, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Crisfield on January 11, 1943, he was a son of the late William Thomas Daugherty, Sr. and Mary Harriet Adams Daugherty. His wife, Donna Marie Bozman Daugherty, preceded him in death on June 19, 2017.

A 1961 graduate of Crisfield High School, he was a retired Business Machine Mechanic at Grumman Filtronic Comtek.

Jack loved working with his hands tinkering and putting things together.  He enjoyed washing cars, traveling, and was an avid gardener who had quite the "green thumb". He was also a devoted caregiver to his wife up until her passing.

He is survived by his son, John W. Daugherty of Crisfield; twin brother, William "Billy" Thomas Daugherty, Jr. of Crisfield; sister, Mary Louise Rubio of Crisfield;  sister-in-law, Glenda Taylor of Salisbury; brother-in-law, Ted Ward of Hebron; nieces, Julie Taylor Hickman and Cristina Rubio, both of Salisbury; nephew, Rudy Hancock of Marion; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Memorial services officiated by Rev. Bob Daniels will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 2 PM. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM.
