Joan Tyler Tawes, 87, of Salisbury, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, June 20, 2022.

Born in Crisfield on June 17, 1935, she was a daughter of the late William Washington Tyler and Agnes Tyler.  Her husband, Dick Tawes, preceded her in death on May 9, 2009.

She is survived by her three children, Julie Tawes Bailey (Scott), Brent Tawes (Mary Beth), and Glenn Tawes.  She also leaves behind five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11 AM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
