JOAN F. KELLER, 73, of Marion, Maryland and formerly of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland.

Born in Philadelphia on October 5, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Lydia Pahl Smith. A 1953 graduate of Upper Darby Senior High School in Upper Darby, PA, she was a retired executive bookkeeper for Fidelity Bank.

She was a member of Broad Methodist Church, Upper Darby Fire Company #3 Ladies Auxiliary and was an avid gardener.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William B. Keller of Marion; five daughters, Joan Margaret Keller and Dinah Lee Butler, both of Athens, Pennsylvania, V. Paulina Finnegan and husband Frank of Primos, Pennsylvania, Jennifer Suzanne Renz and husband David of North Wilmington, Delaware, and Erika Jeanne Keller of Lansdowne, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren, Heather Anne Spencer and husband Steven of Chesapeake, Virginia, William Robert Butler and wife Teresa of Apalachin, New York, Timothy Andrew Butler and Kimberly May Butler, both of Athens, Sabrina Morgan Finnegan and Matthew Francis Finnegan, both of Primos, and Jacob Carter Renz of North Wilmington; and one great-granddaughter, Isabella Maree Spencer of Chesapeake.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Pennsylvania.
