Jessie Ola Swift, 89, of Crisfield, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.

Born in Hopewell on July 20, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Hampton and Edna Nelson Cullen. Her husband, George William Swift, preceded her in death on May 14, 2012.

A homemaker, Jessie enjoyed gardening, flowers, and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Troxell and husband Robert of Crisfield; brother, Paul Cullen; sisters, Edna Lawson, Sarah Mears, Peggy Frock, and Ola Lilliston; grandchildren, Lisa Tull and husband Jody and Robert Troxell, Jr. and wife Amy; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lee Swift; and siblings, Elmer Nelson, Bobby Cullen, Junie Cullen, Mary Lou Hill, Ada Kilmon, and Shirley Sterling.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 1-2 PM and a graveside with procession will follow at Sunnyridge Memorial Park. The graveside will be officiated by Rev. Robert Daniels.
