Jerry Weldon Evans, 85, of Crisfield, passed away at his home on Monday, March 22, 2021.

Born in Crisfield on July 19, 1935, he was the son of the late Buddy and Helen Evans. His wife, Myrna Landon Evans, preceded him in death on August 8, 2012.

A National Guard Veteran, he was a retired Waterman who was honored by the Crisfield Lions Club by being inducted into the Waterman's Hall of Fame.

Jerry was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed golf in his later years. He loved to go to Gordon's as it was always the highlight of his day.

He is survived by his daughter, Tonya Howell of Salisbury; granddaughter, Kaleigh Lynn Howell of Salisbury; nieces and nephews, Richard and Debra Evans of Ohio, Cheryl and John Shores of Salisbury, Terri and Carl Hughes of Cambridge, and Carroll and Sandy Sturgis, Dawn and Tommy Harris, and Patti Blackburn, all of Crisfield.

Along with his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Fay Ford, and son-in-law, Rick Howell.

Funeral services at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home will be held on Monday, March 29, 2021 at 2 PM where a viewing will be one hour prior. Rev. Robert Daniels will officiate and interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
