Jane Yingling Abbott, 60, of Crisfield, died Saturday, October 8, 2016 at McCready Memorial Hospital.

Born in Baltimore on September 6, 1956, she was a daughter of Doris Kress Yingling of Tomball, TX and the late Harry Yingling.

She graduated from Westminster High School and worked at various establishments in Crisfield including Riggin's Grocery, Metompkin, and Captain's Galley. She had a great love for her dogs and would always take in a stray that needed a home.

Along with her mother, Doris Yingling, she is survived by her husband of 20 years, Philip Norman Abbott of Crisfield; her daughter, Katie Boone of North East, MD; two grandchildren, Faith Nicole Boone and Christopher Jeremiah Boone; her siblings, Harry Yingling, III of Parkton, MD, Carol Null of Ohio, and Bryan Yingling of Florida; nieces and nephews, Lee Yingling of Westminster, Tammy Coston of Tomball, TX, and Stacey Anderson of Ohio; and several other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service officiated by the Rev. LeBron Palmer will be held Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a visitation will be one hour prior.
