Jamie Sterling, 60, of Eden, died Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury with his family and his Pastor by his side..
Born in Crisfield, he was a son of Stella Lawson Sterling of Crisfield and the late Philip Sterling who died in 1984.
A graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1970, he was a carpenter working with William Wooster & Sons (Bob, Bruce, and Ryan), since 1984.
Jamie will be remembered for his dry sense of humor, his excellent carpentry skills, and his love for animals.
Along with his mother, Stella Sterling of Crisfield, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Wanda Carmean Sterling of Eden; his daughter, Christy McCoy Elzey of Salisbury; his brother, Steve Sterling and wife Donna of Crisfield and their sons, Stevie Sterling of Bowie, MD and David Sterling of Reston, VA; his mother-in-law, Joann Carmean of Eden; and his brother-in-law, David Carmean and wife Brenda and their sons, Matthew Carmean and John Carmean, all of Mt. Vernon.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Albert L. Carmean.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. Pastor Nolan Ford will officiate. Interment will follow in Zion Church Cemetery in Eden.
