JAMES MURRAY WARD, 74, of Crisfield, died Sunday, May 9, 2010 at Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield where he had been a resident for the past five years.

Born in Crisfield July 11, 1935, he was the loving son of the late M. Ewing Ward, who died June 21, 1978 and the late Anna C. Sneade Ward, who died October 12, 2007.

A graduate of Crisfield High School, he was the owner of the former Crisfield Packing Company. He was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church where he was a former Sunday School Teacher.

He is survived by several cousins.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at 2 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Pastor Bill S. Wilson officiated.
