James Reed Nolan, 85, of Crisfield and formerly of Philadelphia, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.  He had been making his home in Crisfield since 2014.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on March 17, 1939, he was a son of the late James Joseph Nolan and Gertrude F. Reed Nolan.  His wife, Florence Mae Capehart Nolan, preceded him in death on January 11, 2014.

Mr. Nolan was a retired food service manager working for several nursing homes and hospitals over the years.

He is survived by daughters, Kimberly Mae Isbert and husband Paul of Crisfield and Eileen McKinley and husband Richard of Hanover, PA.  He is also survived by a granddaughter, Denise, and a great grandson, R.J.  He was the last surviving of his siblings.
