JACQUELINE FAYE MOONEY, 67, of Salisbury and formerly of Berlin, Westminster and Crisfield, died Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at Deer's Head Hospital Center in Salisbury where she had been a resident since December 1989 after being injured in an automobile accident.
Born in Towson on February 15, 1942, she was a daughter of Katherine LaBarre Riggin of Crisfield and the late John T. Riggin, Jr. who died in 1995. Her husband, Albert Mooney, Sr., died in 2008.
Before her accident, she was a district manager for Candy Kitchen in Ocean City. She also loved to collect Elvis memorabilia.
She is survived by her mother, Katherine L. Riggin of Crisfield; two daughters, Kathie Fowler and husband George of Salisbury and Debbie Briddell and husband Reggie of Berlin; a son, Albert Mooney, Jr. of Virginia; three grandchildren, Robert James Howatt III, Reggie Briddell, Jr. and Bridget Briddell; a sister, Donna Wolfe and husband Derwin of Westminster; a brother, Rodney Nelson Riggin and wife Carol of Crisfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her father and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, John T. Riggin, III in 1995.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 6, 2009 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev.'s Bob and Jonathan Daniels will officiate. Interment will follow in Asbury Cemetery in Crisfield.
