Jackie Edward Taylor, 82, of Princess Anne, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.

Born in Crisfield on March 11, 1943, he was a son of the late Stanley and Rose Mears Taylor.

Jackie was a road worker for the MD State Highway Administration in Princess Anne, where he worked for 21 years before his retirement.

He loved having a good time and he adored his family.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Julia Frances Bell Taylor of Princess Anne; daughters, Vicki Rae Jansen of Princess Anne and Melissa Christine Dukes and husband Rodney of Laurel, DE; sisters, Rose McCartan and husband Lee of Corapolis, PA and Nancy Lee Lewis and husband Terry of Beaufort, NC; grandchildren, Jennifer Parks of Princess Anne, Barbara Taylor Davis and husband Matt of Marion, Jessica Swift and husband Patrick of Crisfield, and Stephanie Dukes Kilgore and husband Jeremy of Milford, DE;  sister-in-law, Hester Ann Taylor of Girdletree; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley Taylor, Jr. and wife Shirley, George Philip Taylor, and Frankie Taylor.

Graveside services will be private.
