IRVIN DONALD MAHONEY, 64, of Crisfield, died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at his home.
Born in Baltimore, he was a son of the late Irvin and Bernadette Phelps Mahoney.
A truck driver, his last employment was with the Somerset County Sanitary District.
He was a US Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era, and a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 12-03 in Crisfield.
He is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Frances Bogdan Mahoney, Crisfield; five children, James Mahoney and wife Lucretia, Salisbury, William Mahoney and wife Shelley, Powells Point, NC, Bernadette Mahoney, Crisfield, John Mahoney and wife Kelly, Mechanicsville, MD, and Christina Mahoney, Crisfield; 11 grandchildren, Joseph, Waylon, Devin, Jesse, Tristan, Jackie, Alexa, Leah, Robin, Bob, and Iree; two great-grandchildren, Shayla and Kaiya; and seven siblings, William Mahoney, Robert, Lloyd and Edward Curtain, Laurie Wagers, Eleanor Holland, and Julia Vickery.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
