IRENE CAROLINE WARWICK , 77, of Crisfield, died Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield. She had been a resident of the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home for the past three years.
Born in Crisfield on November 2, 1930, she was a daughter of the late John and Irene Kilmon DeHaven. Her husband, Charles M. Warwick, Jr. died March 2, 2003.
A seamstress, she worked at the former Crisfield Cap factory and did clothing alterations. She also enjoyed running a local produce stand with her husband.
A member of the Crisfield Church of God, Caroline liked watching Bill Gaither videos, baking, and laughing. Most of all, she loved her family, and her cat, "Mammy".
She is survived by two sisters, RoseAnna Hall and Naomi Lee, both of Crisfield; two sisters-in-law, Peggy DeHaven of Crisfield and Annabelle Sterling of Dover; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers, Rosamond Parks, Elizabeth Collins, Levener Ludlum, Mary Collins, Jackie DeHaven and Cookman Cannon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2 PM at the Crisfield Church of God where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Philip Morris will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield.
