Helen Patricia "Pat" Evans, 76, of Joppa, MD and formerly of Crisfield, died Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at ARC of Northern Chesapeake.

Born in Crisfield February 5, 1937, she was a daughter of the late George Shafter and Laura Margaret Sneade Evans.

She was disabled, and had been with ARC since 1983. She enjoyed housekeeping work.

She is survived by her sister, Mary Lucille Evans Blades of Kilmarnock, VA; her brother, Jack Evans of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Eugene Evans in 1959.

Private graveside services were held Monday, June 17, 2013 in Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield. Rev. Kim Gilson officiated.
