Helen "Faye" Bradshaw, 75, of Ewell, Smith Island, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 2, 2025 from TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.

Born in Crisfield on September 8, 1949 and raised on Smith Island, she was a daughter of the late Edward Russell Jones and Anna Elizabeth Brimer Jones.  She was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1967 and over the years worked on the island at Ruke's Store and the Bayside Inn.

She was a faithful member of Ewell Church on Smith Island where she sang in the choir and was financial secretary.  She was also a member of the Ewell Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.

Faye loved going out to eat, talking to her friends and family on the phone every day, and going to the MAC Center.  Most of all she loved her family and taking care of her grandson.  She was a very devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Wes Bradshaw of Ewell; her daughter, Leslie Marsh and husband Donnie B. of Rhodes Point; her grandson, Donald "Peyton" Marsh of Rhodes Point; her sister, Hester Smith of Tylerton; her aunt and uncle, Ruth and Bobby Jones of Salisbury; nieces, nephews and their families, Alan L. Smith, Jr. and fiancee Dana Insley, Lee and Ruth Ann Smith, Bobby and Kristen Smith, Daniel and Taylor Smith, Dustin and Amy Smith, Jennings L. Evans, Jr., Linda Dize, Wayne and Bridget Evans, Denny Bradshaw, Joan and Eddie Corbin, Gloria Herbert, Don Bradshaw, and Danny Hill; her cousins, Mary Ada Marshall of Tylerton, Jennifer Dize of Ewell, Arbutus Marsh of Rhodes Point and Vanessa Smith of Ewell; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Shelby Faye Marsh; her sister and brother-in-law, Edwina and Jennings Evans; her brother-in-law, Alan Smith; and her nephews, Eddie Russ Smith and Benji Evans.

A viewing will be Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 7-9 PM at Ewell Church on Smith Island.  Funeral services will be Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 2 PM at Ewell Church with Dr. Orlando Short officiating.  Interment will follow in the Ewell Church Cemetery.

A special boat for funeral passengers, Chelsea Lane, will depart from Somers Cove Marina in Crisfield at 12:15 PM and return following the funeral services.
