Haynie Thomas Marshall, 86, of Tylerton, Smith Island, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born April 20, 1928 on Tylerton, he was a son of the late Marvin and Thelma Smith Marshall. He was a waterman and a member of Union United Methodist Church and the National Rifle Association. He built model boats for many years and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by two sisters, Eileen Tull of Salisbury and Millie Outten and husband Paul of Westover; his nephews and nieces, Dennis and Sonya Marshall who were his caregivers, Betty Marshall, Bryan and Sandy Marshall, Darlene White, Deborah and Matthew McCormick, Abby Marshall, Guy and Sarah Marshall, Cheryl Tull, Joanne and Ed Wolfe, Clay Outten, JoLynn and Nanner Pruitt, and Paula and Allen Jarman; several great nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy, Earl and Newman Marshall; a sister, Florence Marshall; three nephews, Buddy Marshall, Tommy White, and Gary Tull; and a niece, Phyllis Tull.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where friends may call one hour prior. Rev. Rick Edmund will officiate. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
