CRISFIELD
HARRY E. HELSBY, JR. 82, of Crisfield, died Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Salisbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury.
Born in Crisfield on March 4, 1924, he was the son of the late Harry E. Helsby, Sr. and the late Mable Sterling Helsby.
A graduate of Crisfield High School, he was a retired seafood dealer with the former Helsby Seafood Company. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Crisfield.
He is survived by two sisters, Joy Fay Tyler and her husband Charles Calvin of Salisbury and Dolores H. Nelson of Boca Raton, Florida; several nieces and nephews; and two special caregivers, Faith and Juanita.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, J. Kenneth Nelson.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 3 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Steve Willing will officiate. Interment will be in Asbury Cemetery in Crisfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Asbury United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, c/o Beth Clough, 9 Heron Way, Crisfield, MD 21817
