HARRY PERCY CULP, JR. 61, of Crisfield, died Monday, May 12, 2008 at his home in Crisfield following a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Crisfield on December 28, 1946, he was the son of the late Harry Percy Culp, Sr. and the late Leila Nelson Culp.
He was a graduate of Crisfield High School and was a US Air Force veteran.
A carpenter, he worked many years at the former Dresser Industries in Salisbury and the former Carvel Hall Cutlery in Crisfield.
He loved traveling, scuba diving in the Bahamas, and skydiving. He also like woodworking. He attended the Crisfield Wesleyan Church.
He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline June Schornak Culp of Crisfield; a daughter, April Jeeter and husband James of Crisfield; and five grandchildren, Christopher "C.C." Richardson, Tyler Tibbitts, Cassidy Bush, Dylan Haas, and Henry Reichstine.
Friends may call Friday, May 16, 2008 from 1-2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield. Graveside services and interment will follow at 2 PM in Asbury Cemetery in Crisfield. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate.
