Harold Reginald "Reggie" Bell, III, 43, of Perryville and formerly of Shelltown, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

Born in Salisbury, MD on September 11, 1977, he was raised on the family farm in Shelltown. He was the son of Harold Reginald "Reggie" Bell, Jr. and Jan Leigh Clayton Bell of Shelltown.

Reggie was a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1995. He served in the US Navy from 1996-2000 on the USS Bunker Hill while at its home port in San Diego, CA and when deployed in Yokosuka, Japan. Even after discharge from the US Navy, he proudly flew his American and Navy flags and wore his Navy hat daily.

He worked in food service management and also in the customer service communications industry.  He volunteered at the Ward Museum and Wicomico County Humane Society.

He was an avid lover of the outdoors, and especially loved gardening and the water. He took great pride in his yard and loved to decorate for Christmas. Reggie would always put others before himself and will be missed by many.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his faithful dog companion and "son," Jude Alexander; grandmother, Nancy Winder Clayton of Parksley, VA; sister, Leighann Bell-Presley and husband Danny Presley of Shelltown; niece and nephew, Carlie Lane Bell and Dalton Lee Presley; and his aunts, Anna Bell Hatchell/Archie of Shelltown and Joanne Clayton Whall/David of Satellite Beach, FL.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold R. Bell, Sr., Martha K. Bell, and Lee Franklin Clayton.

Services will be private.
