Gladys Mae Adkins, 89, of Crisfield, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury.

Born in Accomac, VA on June 13, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Washington Elliott and Nellie Virginia Elliott Thomas.

She was an assembly worker at the former Mrs. Paul's Kitchens, Inc. up until their closing.

She is survived by her son, Chippy Jones of Florida; grandchildren, David Samuel Jones, Debbie Dennis, Chuck Nelson, Ernest Jones, and Shane Jones; great-great grandchildren, Dustin Gene Price, Tabatha Jones, Noah Nelson, and several other great-grandchildren; brother, James Elliott; nephew and niece, Russell Howard and Pam Sarvis.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Adkins; children, Samuel Jones, Marylynette, Debbie Whittington, and Janice Frock; sister, Gloria McBride; and daughter-in-law, Susan Jones.

Graveside services at Asbury United Methodist Cemetery will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2 PM with the Rev. LeBron Palmer officiating.
