Geraldine "June" Parsons, 89, of Crisfield and formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Wicomico Nursing Home.

Born in Sandstone, West Virginia on August 5, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Leslie and Lena Gill Cales. Her first husband, Junior Carl Zickafoose, preceded her in death in 1968, and her second husband, Lee Vance Parsons preceded, her in death in 1987.

She was a caregiver for the elderly and in her younger years she worked at the former Mackey Vending Company in Baltimore.

She had been living in Crisfield since 1983 and was a faithful member of the Crisfield Church of God.

June enjoyed crafting, knitting, gardening, and cooking. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by her sons, David C. Zickafoose of Hagerstown, MD and Wayne Zickafoose and wife Susie of Salisbury; grandchildren, Marty Wood, Eric Zickafoose, Kevin Zickafoose, and Michael Zickafoose; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bill Owens of Altoona, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and first and second husbands, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Mark Wood; siblings, Freida Owens and Billy Joe Cales; and daughter-in-law, Gail Zickafoose.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at 1 PM at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
