George Edward Tull, 80, of Crisfield, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.
Born in Crisfield June 9, 1940, he was the son of the late Norris and Elizabeth Sterling Tull.
He was a correctional officer at Eastern Correctional Institution where he retired in December of 2005. He was a 54-year life member of the Crisfield Fire Department, where he served as Captain and Assistant Chief. He attended Living Hope Ministries in Marion.
George enjoyed traveling with his family, going out to eat, and being with his friends. Family was so important to him. Fishing was his passion, and any day you could find him out with his long time fishing buddy, Tim Tyler.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Brenda A. Tull; two sons whom he adored, Brent Tull(Val) and Greg Tull(Krista); three grandchildren, Kayla Tull, Karen Abell(Dale), and John Earhart(Elliett); six great-grandchildren, Madelyn Abell, Kyndall Abell, Kailyn Earhart, Payden Earhart, and twin boys, Jase and Landon Earhart; two sisters, Octavia Linton and Carolyn Cullen; a brother, David Tull; and special friend, Donnie Coulbourne.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Charles Tull; and one sister, Bonnie Tull.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 1 PM at Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Pastors LeBron Palmer and David Evans, Jr. will officiate.
