GEORGE WEBSTER TODD, III, 66, of Crisfield, died Friday, March 18, 2011 at Berlin Nursing Home following a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Born on Solomon's Island March 11, 1945, he was a son of the late George W. "Eppie" Todd, Jr. and Sarah Janet Abbott Todd.

A waterman and a US Navy veteran, he was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, 32nd Degree Mason with Chesapeake Masonic Lodge #147 AF & AM, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, and the former Chesapeake Chapter #28 Order of Eastern Star where he was Past Worthy Patron.

He loved flowers, and being with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ruth Elaine Landon Todd of Crisfield; three children, George W. "Toddie" Todd, IV and his wife Amy, Angela Dee "Dee Dee" Todd and Gerald Welch, and Jonathon W. Todd and his wife Angie, all of Crisfield; seven grandchildren, Brooks, Alex, Samantha, Elaina, Robbie, Will and Amaya; a sister, Jan Caldwell and her husband Don of Crisfield; a niece, Sarah Mae Brown and her husband Jesse of Hebron; and numerous cousins.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate.
