George Handley, Sr., of Baltimore, died on December 8, 2014 at the home of his daughter, Nancy Bedsworth, in Crisfield.

Born on March 17, 1923, he was the son of the late David and Flora Handley of Baltimore. He was one of eleven children. His wife Daisy of 65 years of marriage passed before him.

He was a veteran of world War II in the United States Army-Air Force, when there was an Army-Air force. We are proud of his service and of him.

Besides Nancy he is survived by his son, George Handley, Jr. and his wife, Carol, Daughters, Dolores Mertz and Linda Pinkston. Brothers, Alford and Tommy Handley. Sisters, Lorraine, Evelyn, and June. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends.

Relatives and friends may call at the LOUDON PARK FUNERAL HOME, 3620 Wilkens Ave.,Baltimore, MD on Thursday, December 11, from 3 to 7 p.m., and on Friday, December 12, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at which time services will be held.

Interment Loudon Park Cemetery.
