George Levin Hill, 93, of Crisfield, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 at his home.

Born in Marion Station on September 28, 1927, he was a son of the late Roy and Ruth Bayner Hill. His wife, Yvonne Elizabeth "Betty" Hill preceded him in death in 2008.

George was a US Navy World War II veteran and was retired from Penn Central Railroad. He was a life-long member of the Crisfield Elks Lodge #1044 and the former Crisfield VFW Post #8274. He was also a long-time member of the Stanley Cochrane Post #16 American Legion.

He is survived by his children, Dreama Hill, Debbie Haddaway, George Hill, Jr./Mandy, Vaughn Hill, and George Hill; grandchildren, Raymond Hill/Sheila, Brad Hill, Shane Conner/Samantha, Cliff Somers/Lori, Renee Hill, Michelle Hill, Crystal Hoover, Michael Hill, and Mark Hill; and several great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Roy Hill; and several brothers and sisters.
