Gary Gene Guy, 44, of Ewell, Smith Island, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 20, 2014.

Born on Ewell, on February 18, 1970, he was the son of Beverly Tyler Guy of Ewell and the late Gene Guy who died November 25, 2000.

He was a waterman and a graduate of Crisfield High School class of 1988. He was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, he loved the water, and he loved spending time with his family. He always had a smile on his face and was always laughing and joking. He was a member of Ewell United Methodist Church and was a past member of the Ewell Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his mother, Beverly Tyler Guy of Ewell; two sisters, Wendy Guy of Willards and Melanie Guy of Ewell; a niece, Alexis Guy; aunts and uncles, Vivian and Clarence Tyler of Princess Anne and Henry and Katie Guy of Salisbury; and cousins, Billy John Evans of Ewell, Bekki Tyler of Florida, Henry Guy of New Jersey, and Donna Murray of Salisbury.

Along with his father he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Bernice Guy and John and Rose Tyler.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 2 PM at Ewell United Methodist Church. Rev. Rick Edmund will officiate.
