Fritz Leon Strobel, 71, of Crisfield, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake.

Born in Crisfield on May 28, 1953, he was the son of the late Fritz Leon Strobel Sr. and Marynell Elliott Hinman.

Fritz was a construction worker and also worked as a fiberglass technician. He enjoyed boating, camping, building model boats, and was an avid canvas painter of wildlife and sailboats. He also built local model workboats and sold his art to local and out-of-state buyers. Additionally, he enjoyed finding treasures at yard sales. His biggest pleasure was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

He is survived by his former loving wife, Susan L. Strobel; his son, Bruce Charles Strobel, and his wife, Pearly; his grandchildren, Precious and Khianna; his furbaby, Penny; two nieces, Becki Tyler and Mindy Swift; a special friend, William T. 'Billy' Davis; and many friends.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Ann Strobel; son, Fritz James "Chuckie" Strobel, and his sister, Diane Tyler.

A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 1 PM at the Crisfield Wesleyan Church.  Rev. Robert Daniels will officiate.
