Frank Dale Johnson, 80, of Crisfield, passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at his home.
Born in Crisfield and raised in Marion, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Virginia "Virgie" Howard Johnson.
Frank was a 1962 graduate of Marion High School and served in the National Guard during the Baltimore Riots in 1968. He was a well-known business owner whose business ventures included Gunter Brothers Hardware, The Cove Restaurant, T & F Farms, T & F Rentals, and the Feed Mill in Westover. Most recently, he worked at ECI as a Correctional Officer.
He enjoyed fishing, working, and above all, his children and family.
Frank is survived by his sons, Erik Johnson of Powellville and Aaron Johnson of Crisfield; brothers, Phil Johnson of West Virginia and David Johnson of Delmar, DE; sister, Agnes Lewis of Crisfield; grandchildren, Conner Johnson, Noah Johnson, and Luke Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Dunn, and a brother, Albert Johnson.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be Monday evening, August 26, 2024 from 6-8 PM. Interment will be in Quinton Cemetery in Pocomoke City.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
