Frances Elizabeth Windsor, 82, of Marion Station, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, DE.
Born in Crisfield on February 7, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Stanford Harvey and Lelia Elizabeth Daugherty Thomas. Her husband, Thomas Aaron Windsor, Sr. preceded her in death on April 24, 2001.
A graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1953, she was a homemaker and caregiver to her family. In her earlier years, she wrapped crabs with her best friend, the late Pat Diggs, at the former Diggs Seafood.
She enjoyed traveling, eating, and having fun. She loved cooking Sunday dinners and being with her family. Her life was devoted to her home and her children.
She is survived by her children, Thomas A. Windsor, Jr. of Fairfax, VA, Tony E. Windsor and fiancé Shelly Lowe of Seaford, DE, Jeffrey T. Windsor and special friend Tonya Sterling of Marion Station, Robert S. Windsor and wife Elizabeth of Allen, MD, and Carol W. Pankratz and husband Christopher of Marion Station; grandchildren, Aaron T. Windsor, Elizabeth A. "Beth" Pruitt, Hannah N. Windsor, Brandon A. Windsor, Colin M. Windsor, Dylan X.T. Pankratz, and Abigail M. Pankratz; and several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Ann Thomas and a brother, Stanford Thomas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, July 21, 2017 at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield, where a viewing will be one hour prior. The Rev. Harvey Tyler will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery.
