Obituary

FLORENCE HESS HALL, 66, of Westover, died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Hartley Hall Nursing Home in Pocomoke City.

Born in Preston, she was the daughter of the late Theron Charles and Annie Bair Hess. A graduate of Marion High School class of 1963, she was a bookkeeper for Stevensons Equipment in Pocomoke City and Cluff's Hatchery in Rehobeth. She was also a former cashier at Publix Grocery Store in Florida and was a teller at Peninsula Bank in Pocomoke City.

She was a member of Greenhill Church of the Brethren in Westover. She loved flowers, gardening and cooking family dinners. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with them and attending all types of sports events, school functions and birthday parties.

She is survived by her two children, William Edward "Billy" Hall, Jr. and wife Lisse of Pocomoke City and Belinda Hall Stonnell of Chincoteague; two brothers, Robert T. Hess and wife Anne and John G. Hess and wife Peggy, all of Shelltown; grandchildren, Heather Stonnell of Alabama, Zachary Hall of Pocomoke City and Skylar Hall of Pocomoke City; nieces, Dianna Lease of New Jersey and Faye Hinman of Westover; and several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter Stonnell on September 10, 2010.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where the family will receive friends one hour prior. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. Interment will follow in Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery.
