Evelyn Louise Pettit Robertson, 88, of Marion Station, died Sunday, September 4, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional.
Born in Pocomoke City on May 8, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Elmo Pettit and Gussie Rae Dryden Pettit.
She was a talented seamstress and upholsterer and worked at Barbara Lee's Dress Shop in Pocomoke for many years. She also loved gardening, feeding and watching birds, antiquing and reading.
She is survived by her fiancé, Leonard Kelley of Marion Station and his son, Jeff Kelley (Barbara) of Quantico; six children, Margaret Ward (Ben) of Salisbury, Joan Swift (Archie East) of Marion Station, Joyce Ann Robertson of Princess Anne, Ellen Osman of Salisbury, Debbie Diehl (Jim) of Salisbury, and Danny Mark Robertson (Cheryl) and their granddaughter, Brooklyn of Marion Station; grandchildren, Matthew Ward (Maureen), Eric Swift (Julie), Andrew White, Kyle White (Ksenia), Jacob Diehl, B.J. Hinman, Jordan Hinman, and Lindsay Robertson; great-grandchildren, Theron Lake, Drew, Johnny, Rayne, Madyson, Lucy and Jordan; brother-in-law, Joseph Robertson of Marion Station; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Lee Robertson; two brothers, Robert Pettit and John Lee Pettit; and a sister, Erma Donoway.
Funeral services will be Friday, September 9, 2022 at 12 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home where a viewing will be one hour prior. Rev. Joe Barnes will officiate. Interment will follow in First Baptist Cemetery in Pocomoke City.
