Evelyn Clara Marsh, 83, of Crisfield and formerly of Tylerton, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at McCready Health.

Born in Onancock, VA on April 11, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Mary Ella Bruce Gibbons. Her husband, James Marsh, preceded her in death on May 26, 1989.

She was a homemaker and a member of Union U. M. Church on Tylerton, and also attended the Crisfield Church of God and Faith Fellowship Assembly of God. She enjoyed taking part in the Nursing Home Ministries and Home Bible Study Prayer Group.

She loved her family, and enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her children. She and her husband were a very devoted couple and were a great example to her children and others.

She is survived by her children, Hilda Marshall and her husband Johnnie of Crisfield, Walter James Marsh and his wife Hannahlore of Greenbackville, VA, Bonnie Faye Marsh of Wytheville, VA, and Jessie Bryan Marsh and wife Lori Ann of Toddville, MD and Tylerton; three grandchildren, Micah Marshall of Westover, Jason Marsh of Greenbackville, VA, and Amanda Marsh of Pocomoke; one nephew, Carl Gibbons and wife Linda of Hampton, VA; and four great grandchildren.

Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Faye Marsh; and two brothers, Walter Gibbons and Johnny Gibbons.

Funeral services officiated by the Rev. Rick Edmund will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 2 Pm at Union U. N. Church on Tylerton, Smith Island. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery. Viewings will be held Tuesday morning from 10-11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home and Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM at the church on Tylerton.
