EUGENE E. MARSHALL, JR., 41, Ewell, Smith Island, died Friday, May 4, 2007 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.

Born in Crisfield, on July 15, 1965, he was a son of Eugene E., Sr. and Christine Marsh Marshall of Ewell.

He was a waterman, working on buy boats, and most recently on a tug; and he was a member of Ewell United Methodist Church. He was a beloved son and a devoted father.

He is survived by his parents, Eugene E., Sr. and Christine Marsh Marshall of Ewell; his son, Jeremy Watson of Ewell; his brother, Calvin Marshall of Ewell; aunts and uncles, Sherri M. and Gary Johns of Severn, Maryland, Maxine and Marvin "Bunk" Evans, of Ewell, Rick Marsh of Crisfield and Edward and Sharon Marshall of Las Vegas; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 2 PM at Ewell United Methodist Church on Smith Island. The Rev. Rick Edmund will officiate. Friends may call Tuesday from 10-11 AM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield and from 7-9 PM at the Church on Smith Island. Interment will be in the Ewell Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ewell Volunteer Fire Department or Ewell U. M. Church, both Ewell, MD 21824.
