Estelle Bradshaw, 93, of Crisfield, died on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home.
Born on Feb. 16, 1916 at Ewell, Smith Island, she was the daughter of the late Noah T. Evans and Maggie Dora Jones Evans. She was a licensed Beautician since 1931 and was owner and operator of Estelle's Beauty Shop in Crisfield. Her license was still currently active. Her husband, Coulbourne H. Bradshaw, died on Nov. 24, 1986.
She was a member of the Immanuel United Methodist Church, the Women's Civic Club, both of Crisfield. Her life long ambition was "hairdressing".
Surviving are three sons, Noah Bradshaw and wife Carolyn, of Kingston, Jack Bradshaw of Salisbury, and Charles Bradshaw and wife, Tammy of Crisfield; two daughters, Cecil B. Shannon of Pocomoke City, and Karen Evans Cullen and husband, Dale of Beaufort, SC; grandchildren, Michael Shannon of Pocomoke City, Mark Bradshaw and wife, Kim of Boston, MA, Scott Bradshaw and wife, Nancy of Duluth, GA, Tammy Reagan and husband, Tim of Lawrenceville, GA, Valerie Bradshaw of Fruitland, Ryan Bradshaw and wife, Emily of Berlin, Shannon Brittingham and husband, Chris of Derby, Kansas, Colby Bradshaw and Kyle Bradshaw, both of Crisfield, Shelley Hanna and husband, Ken, and Tracy Evans all of Beaufort, SC; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Shannon and Cole Porter, Benjamin and Lucy Bradshaw, Nickalus, Tyler and Cooper Bradshaw, Noah Reagan, Adrian, Damian and Nolan Bradshaw, Trace, and Audrey and Camden Brittingham, and Austin and Kayla Hanna; and one nephew, Nicholas T. Evans and wife, Carol of Salisbury.
Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Winnie Evans, and a niece, Ruth Eileen Evans.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Crisfield with the Rev. Dr. William Davis officiating and assisted by Pastor Bill S. Wilson. Interment will be in Sunnyridge Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home Tuesday from 7-9 PM.
