Erma Lillian Landon Price, 76, of Crisfield, died Friday, December 5, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield on February 28, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Charles Henry Landon and Mary White Landon. Her husband of almost 55 years, James Edwin Price, preceded her in death on April 20, 2011.

A graduate of Crisfield High School Class of 1956, she was a homemaker, professional day care provider, and a foster parent for ten years for 20 children ages newborn to 18. She was a member of Marion Baptist Church where she taught Bible school for 25 years, and she loved to read.

She is survived by four children, James E. Price, Jr. and wife Rhonda of Chesapeake, VA, Steven Landon Price and wife Sharon of Salisbury, Mary Margaret Vance and husband Robert of Willards, and Stephanie Lynn Dize and husband Barry of Crisfield; eight grandchildren, Karen Kimberly Price, Katherine Anne Price, James Charles Landon Price, Robert Vance, II, Nicole Vance, Mariah Lynn Dize, Haley Noelle Dize, and Shannon Rachel Dize; three great-grandsons, Zander, Xaviar, and Archer; a brother, Charles "Buffy" Landon, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Crisfield; two sisters, Mina Gunter and husband Bill of Salisbury and Vi Verling and husband Bruce of Flint Hill, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Dee Dee Kundt and Eleanor "Teenie" Ennis.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 1 PM at St. Paul's Cemetery in Marion. A memorial service will follow at 2 PM at Marion Baptist Church. Pastor Joseph Barnes will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Marion Baptist Church Benevolent Fund, 5833 Crisfield Highway, Marion, MD 21838.
