Eric R. Streahle, 52, of Marion Station, MD and formerly of New Jersey, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2024 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury, MD.

Born in Germany on June 6, 1972, he was a son of the late Thomas C. and Nancy Smith Streahle.  He moved to the US as a small child in 1974.

Eric was a retired Correctional Officer at Bayside State Prison in New Jersey. He was extremely passionate about hunting, fishing, and helping others.  He also formerly had his 50-ton Master Captains license.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jodi N. Elbertson Streahle; brothers, Thomas D. Streahle and Karl Streahle; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at 1 PM at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville, NJ 08332.  A visitation will be from 11 until service time at 1.
