ELWORTH RAYMOND "JR." HALL, JR., 73, of Crisfield, died Friday, April 24, 2009 at McCready Memorial Hospital in Crisfield.
Born in Crisfield on December 2, 1935, he was the son of Verna Lee Poole Hall of Crisfield and the late Elworth Raymond Hall.
A graduate of Marion High School, he was a farmer and crab pot maker.
He was a member of the Crisfield Wesleyan Church, and in his earlier years was a Deacon of the Rehobeth Baptist Church for over 25 years. He loved going to church, making crab pots, and going hunting with his sons. He also enjoyed going to his grandchildren's ball games. Most recently he loved watching his granddaughters softball games.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen Jane Justice Hall of Crisfield; his mother, Verna Lee Hall of Crisfield; his daughter, Donna Jean Corbin of Crisfield; two sons, Ronald Lee Hall and William James Hall and wife Tammy, all of Crisfield; his sister, Helen Frances Campbell of Crisfield; six grandchildren, Ronald "R.J." Hall, Jr., Chad Bozman, Samantha Hall, Kelly Hall, Briauna Hall and Amber Weinstein; one great-grandson, Damian Jacob Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 2 PM at the Crisfield Wesleyan Church where friends may call one hour prior. The Rev. Bob Daniels will officiate. Interment will follow in Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery.
