Elwood F. "Woody" Maddrix, 84, of Marion Station, died Monday, December 17, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.

Born in Crisfield on July 24, 1928, he was the son of the late Lloyd Jesse and Beatrice Viola Betts Maddrix.

He was a retired master carpenter, working 42 years with the Pennsylvania Railroad in Baltimore. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and his little dog "Bob".

He is survived by three children, Joyce Ann Maddrix of Marion Station, Donna Lee Bogert and husband Doug of Denver, Indiana, and Billy Maddrix and wife Irene Devin of Mandeville, Louisiana; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many special cousins.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his first and second wives, Anna Grace Bentz Maddrix in 1992, and Mary Ellen Maddrix in 2011; and his sister, Joyce Rae Williams.

Funeral services officiated by Rev. Greg Cox will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 2 PM at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will follow in Sunnyridge Memorial Park.
