ELWOOD BRITTINGHAM, 60, of Helena, Montana and formerly of Crisfield, died Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at his home in Helena.

Born in Crisfield on November 29, 1947, he was the son of Anna Lee Crockett Brittingham of Crisfield and the late Elwood George Brittingham.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Lee Crockett of Crisfield; six sisters, Shirley Kidwell and husband Doug of Chesapeake, VA, Loretta Catlin of Crisfield, Ellen Parks of Fairmount, Annette Hall of Crisfield, Terri Davis of Crisfield and Sherri Harrison of Marion Station; three children; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Jenny Dise.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 11, 2008 at 3 PM at Marion Baptist Church. The Rev's Joseph Barnes and Philip Morris will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, donations to help the family with expenses are requested to be sent in care of Marion Baptist Church, P.O. Box 138, Marion Station, Maryland 21838.

Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
